And every big game can never deliver on unreasonable expectations - Halo3,GTA4,MGS4 (although still good games)
Still Gears2 will be awesome judging by footage and the fact that Gears1 was a solid 4/5 game for me.

owning a 360 with the playstation crowd having to make do with sloppy seconds.
PS1 and PS2 were awesome but with this generation of consoles it seems Sony are out of their depth and barely treading water.
Why will the PS3 version have to be dumbed down like alot of posters are saying -
Wasnt it the PS3 version of GTA4 holding the 360 version back 6 months because they couldnt get it running half decently?
Even multiplatform games that are developed by different studios are getting better results on the 360 - there is no dumbing down here.
PS3 fans will just have to admit that the 360 is on par with the PS3 in terms of raw power......

If Sony have an exclusive Halo game or joint Halo game announced tommorow then expect that to eclipse this!
Microsoft have done this to gain a bigger foothold in Japan - the one teritory where they are struggling big time.
I kinda think that no matter what titles MS releases over there consumers are still gonna stick to the PS3 and Wii - even if MS had FF13 as exclusive.....
At least MS are trying though and hopefully the game will be as good as Lost Odyssey.....

Expects MS to completely own Sony at E3 this year - with a better line up of games - properly functioning online service and a decent price point that doesnt rip off its customers.

I use the PS3 as a solution to get to sleep occasionaly.
Just turn it on and get so bored that im playing crap on it that im out like a light.
When will the flopstation3 get some decent games?
Well it has 1 AAA title in COD4 but the 360 version beats that so maybe next year.

they are stating that there will be over 100 enemies on screen at times and it wont just be an interactive cutscene.
By my reckoning the graphics on Gears2 enemies will be more detailed than that of NG2 enemies.
Towards the end of NG2 there is apart of the game with over 30 enemy ninjas onscreen at same time (going up steps part).
This segment of the game caused slowdown of epic proportions,thus if Gears has 100 enemies on screen, and more detailed...

Doubt my PC will run it so will 360 it.

If the PS3 didnt have so many bottlenecks and bandwidth issues it might.
Kinda like asking Carl Lewis to run 100m in 10 seconds but with his shoe laces tied........
Also why are some multiplatform releases lower res on the PS3 than theyre 360 counter...
Does anyone know (proper figures please) how many units the PS3 is outselling the 360 by each MONTH worldwide?........i'd really like to know so i can work something interesting out for you all.

Lost Odysssey disc swap is far more beneficial time-wise than waiting for massive chapter installs ala MGS4.
Get a stop watch if you want proof - or just trust someone who knows.......
Also in my book Lost Odyssey 5/5 --- MGS4 4/5 (very nice but something aint quite right with it thus drops 1 point)
Kinda true butterfinger - the best E3's are the ones when they show off new systems.
Myself i wanna see more on Red alert3,Gears2,Killzone2 and Star Ocean4 - kinda generic but there you go.
Dont wanna see hypes and lies that you know just aint gonna happen......or if they do they fail big time.
